This week’s Thank a Teacher winner calls the Glades Region “her heart and her home.” Teacher Rachel D'Ausilio emphasizes hands-on learning inside her science classroom at Lake Shore Middle School. Her hard work was noticed by twin sisters Giselle and Yadira who co-nominated Ms. D'Ausilio.

After a year of renovations, Lake Shore Middle School students got to experience their new science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) lab, all thanks to a $50,000 STEM Classroom Makeover Grant from Florida Power & Light Company (FPL).

2024 Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Parent Survey
The survey is open to all parents of children with an individual educational plan (IEP) receiving ESE services from preschool age through grade 12 and is not intended for parents of students receiving only gifted services through an educational plan (EP). The survey will be open through June 30, 2024.
